Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lee Stephens (ranked 2642 p4p, 23568 weight class) and Boyka Kersikov (ranked 348 p4p, 657 weight class). Kersikov has chosen Nosferatu - When Angels Cry as his entrance music. Boyka Kersikov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boyka Kersikov!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov throws a jab but it's blocked by Stephens.
Some wild striking there from Stephens.
Stephens throws a leg kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Kersikov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kersikov moves out of range of the body kick from Stephens.
A nice inside leg kick there by Stephens. That's going to slow Kersikov down.
Kersikov connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Stephens is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Kersikov is keeping busy.

And Kersikov responds with a good body kick, but Stephens manages to step out the way in time.
Stephens wants to clinch up but Kersikov keeps it at a distance.
Kersikov is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Lee Stephens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kersikov gets caught napping as Stephens dives in and scores a takedown. Kersikov manages to retain guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Lee Stephens will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Kersikov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kersikov wants it to stay on the feet.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Boyka Kersikov will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Kersikov drops Stephens with a straight right hand, right on the button! Kersikov follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Boyka Kersikov!
An out of breath Boyka Kersikov thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
