Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pedro Fuentes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jerome Steel!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Ron Honeybunn and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel throws a leg kick which misses Fuentes's front leg but catches the back leg as Fuentes tries to avoid it.
Steel wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Fuentes connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Fuentes lands the left hand.
Fuentes fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Steel has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Fuentes connects with an inside leg kick.
Steel on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Steel's coach down at Punch Out Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Steel's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Steel swings for the body but Fuentes moves out of range.
Fuentes misses with a looping left.
Fuentes checks a leg kick.
Fuentes takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Pedro Fuentes has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Steel stuns Fuentes with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Fuentes tries to land a front kick but Steel steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Steel throws a head kick that misses
and Fuentes counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Fuentes slips a straight right by Steel.
Steel fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Steel tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fuentes was well out of range. Poor timing from Steel.
A low kick lands for Steel.
Steel throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fuentes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Steel just misses with a punch to the body.
Fuentes is looking to counter punch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Steel is looking to score with low kicks.
Fuentes is looking to counter punch.
Steel takes a swing at Fuentes's ribcage but misses.
Fuentes was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
A head kick misses from Steel.
Fuentes is looking to counter punch.
Steel walks into a stiff left hand from Fuentes.
It looks like Jerome Steel has been cut.
Steel misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jerome Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fuentes cracks Steel with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Fuentes has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Steel to stand back up!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fuentes takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Fuentes lands with a kick to the ribs.
Fuentes punishes Steel's body with a nice straight punch.
Steel looks winded!
Fuentes feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Steel sprawling to the canvas! Steel rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Fuentes finish him?!
Steel is rocked!
Steel jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fuentes swings for the body but Steel moves out of range.
It seemed like Steel was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Fuentes connects with the punch.
Steel walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Fuentes! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
