Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ife Edwards (ranked 99 p4p, 219 weight class) and George Peterson (ranked 17 p4p, 32 weight class). Edwards's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Damian Marley - Road to Zion. On his way into the cage it seems that Ife Edwards has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ife Edwards seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Edwards counters with a low kick, right behind Peterson 's knee.
Peterson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Peterson lands with a right to the head.
Edwards is trying to break the clinch but Peterson is controlling him.
Peterson swings wildly with an uppercut but Edwards uses good head movement to avoid it.
Peterson struggles to land a body shot inside as Edwards controls his hands.
Peterson throws a head punch that misses.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Peterson.
Peterson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Edwards backwards.
Edwards tries to break the clinch but Peterson is controlling the position.
Edwards breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Edwards bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Peterson's head backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Peterson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd cheers as Peterson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Edwards doesn't seem phased though.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Peterson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Edwards's brow.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Edwards with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Peterson to score with a decent uppercut.

Edwards uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Peterson.

Edwards's jab looks to have found its range, popping Peterson under the eye.
Edwards throws a hook but Peterson avoids it easily.

and Edwards scores with a counter punch that sends Peterson to the canvas! Edwards smells blood - he's punishing Peterson with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Peterson has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
