Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Erza Scarlet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nikolay Sokolov!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scarlet scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like Nikolay Sokolov has been cut.
Scarlet leaves Sokolov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sokolov closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Scarlet quickly recovers to half guard.
Sokolov passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Scarlet!
Sokolov pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee warns Scarlet that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Scarlet tries to lock up and control but Sokolov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Scarlet on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Scarlet tries to get out of the position.
Sokolov lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sokolov working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Sokolov wants to control the pace but Scarlet is squirming around nicely.
