Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Saito Hajime (ranked 4713 p4p, 4894 weight class) and Jay Read (ranked 513 p4p, 521 weight class). Read has chosen Fight Music as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jay Read! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Read gets a clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Read as Hajime tries to tie him up. Read manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Hajime tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Read paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hajime tries to clinch up but Read circles away and keeps his distance. Read fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hajime, pushing him back against the cage. With the fighters up against the cage, Read throws an elbow but misses. Hajime is trying to pull guard but Read has him pressed against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight! Jay Read comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Read has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
