Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brownie Anderson (ranked 2418 p4p, 2064 weight class) and Jack Falcon (ranked 312 p4p, 280 weight class). Falcon has chosen O Retrô Ativo - Heróis do Status Quo as his entrance music. Brownie Anderson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jack Falcon's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falcon looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Falcon throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Brownie Anderson has been cut.
Anderson misses the shot to the body.
Anderson lands with a nice combination. Falcon backs away looking to recover.

Brownie Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Falcon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Falcon wants it to stay on the feet.
Anderson throws a hook to the side of Falcon's head but Falcon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Falcon is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Anderson is defending well though. Falcon let's go of the attempt for now.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Anderson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Falcon is fending him off so far but Anderson persists. Nope, Falcon circles away and we're back to standing.

Falcon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

A close round but Jack Falcon will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Falcon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Anderson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Falcon is in Anderson's guard.

Anderson pushes Falcon off and scrambles back to his feet.
Falcon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Anderson as he avoids it easily.
Falcon walks into a jab.
Falcon tries to bum rush Anderson with a series of wild strikes but Anderson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Falcon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Anderson circles away quickly and effectively.
Anderson jabs Falcon right on the nose. Falcon blinks but takes it well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Falcon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Anderson tries to avoid it but Falcon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Anderson to the ground. Anderson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Anderson throws a body punch but Falcon moves out of range.
Falcon let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Anderson enables Falcon to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Anderson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Anderson wants to get back to his feet but Falcon is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Brownie Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Falcon.
Anderson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
