Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aslan Magomedov (ranked 3350 p4p, 2590 weight class) and Nissho Sakurai (ranked 414 p4p, 333 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aslan Magomedov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nissho Sakurai!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakurai bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Magomedov scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Magomedov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sakurai tries to kick Magomedov off in order to stand up. Magomedov Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Magomedov is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Magomedov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Sakurai pushes Magomedov away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Magomedov gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Magomedov takes a little break here. Sakurai wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Magomedov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
