The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones rushes Pumoloski and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jones swings wildly with an uppercut but Pumoloski uses good head movement to avoid it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jones has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The ref is looking closely - Jones is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Jones is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
