The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammar lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lee at a distance.
Hammar throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lee's head.

It looks like Jeff Lee has been cut.
Hammar's corner calls for a 1-2. Hammar obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Lee is rocked!
Lee moves forwards but Hammar connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Oh Lee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hammar cracks Lee with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hammar has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Lee to stand back up!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hammar throws a series of punches but Lee moves out of range.

Lee takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Hammar scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Lee seems to have got his legs back now.

Hammar drops Lee with a beautiful combination! Lee stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hammar is looking for the KO!

Hammar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Lee counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Hammar wants to stand up but Lee is controlling him.
Lee lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Lee is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Lee prevents Hammar from getting back to his feet.
Lee content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Hammar has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammar wants to stand but Lee is controlling the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammar fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lee.

Lee slips a jab and a cross from Hammar.
Lee takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hammar lunges at Lee with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lee's hand.
Hammar stuns Lee with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hammar has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hammar, as that shot connected.
Lee shoots for a takedown but Hammar saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hammar moves into range and connects with a jab.
Thorulf Hammar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lee finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Hammar's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Lee falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
