Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bjj Ace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Woodie Maykit! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Ace. Maykit really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ace. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Maykit is looking for a sweep. Ace is trying to get an arm triangle but Maykit is defending well. Maykit is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ace asserts his dominance and retains side control. Ace wants to lay and pray for a moment but Maykit keeps working. Maykit struggling a bit here. Maykit tries to bench press Ace off him but Ace keeps the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ace working away. Maykit wants to get back to his feet but Ace drags him back down. Maykit wants to control but Ace postures up. Ace tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maykit wants to control but Ace postures up. Maykit is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ace off and has taken his back! Ace looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Maykit is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Ace knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Ace for a finish. Ace trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Maykit is hanging on to Ace's back as he tries to escape.
Maykit is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Maybe a few strikes would soften Ace for a finish. Ace is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Maykit gets his way!
Ace won't enjoy being in this position. Maykit looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Ace is tapping - it's over boys! Maykit picks up the submission victory!
