Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dylan Jacobson Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Laith Kerr!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobson Jr jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kerr slips a jab and a cross from Jacobson Jr.
Jacobson Jr throws a head kick that misses.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jacobson Jr blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kerr lands a hook to the side of the head.
Jacobson Jr lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Kerr can't break the clinch.
Kerr is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Jacobson Jr lands a nice uppercut.
Jacobson Jr tries for a takedown. No joy.
Kerr wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kerr looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jacobson Jr tries a body shot but Kerr blocks it.
Jacobson Jr fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kerr wants to break the clinch but can't.
A shot in the inside from Kerr.
Jacobson Jr throws a punch but it's blocked by Kerr.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jacobson Jr.
Still in the clinch, Jacobson Jr scores with a nice short uppercut.

Jacobson Jr lands a left hand.
Kerr is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Kerr makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Kerr tries to break the clinch but Jacobson Jr is controlling the position.
Jacobson Jr working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Kerr wants to break the clinch but can't.

Jacobson Jr gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jacobson Jr stays in close to Kerr's body and controls the position.
Kerr looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Kerr is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jacobson Jr tries to free his leg and advance position but Kerr is retaining full guard.

Jacobson Jr throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kerr works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Jacobson Jr not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Jacobson Jr in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Jacobson Jr controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Jacobson Jr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jacobson Jr pushes down on Kerr's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Jacobson Jr prevents Kerr from improving his position.
Jacobson Jr content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Jacobson Jr passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kerr!

Kerr is in a horrible position here. Jacobson Jr smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Jacobson Jr pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Jacobson Jr is landing with some decent strikes but Kerr is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Kerr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jacobson Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jacobson Jr scoring with strikes but Kerr is staying in there.
Kerr is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Kerr takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Jacobson Jr tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Jacobson Jr throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Kerr has his hands clasped together but Jacobson Jr breaks the hold and Kerr is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Jacobson Jr!
