The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anudo connects with a single shot there.
Jackson Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anudo lands with an overhand left.

Anudo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Silva did well to prevent Anudo getting side control.
Anudo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Silva is looking for a sweep. Anudo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Silva regains full guard. Nicely done.
Anudo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Silva might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Anudo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Silva tries to bench press Anudo off him but Anudo keeps the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Anudo has control of Silva's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Silva regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Silva looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Anudo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Silva is squirming around, avoiding Anudo's attempts to control the action.
Silva tries to lock up and control but Anudo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Anudo is stalling here. Silva is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Anudo seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Silva has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Anudo wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Silva has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Anudo's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Anudo is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Silva!
