The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hanen misses with an uppercut.
Azevedo Souza ducks right into an uppercut from Hanen.
Azevedo Souza throws a lazy right hand but Hanen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hanen scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Hanen moves out of range of the strikes.
Hanen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Hanen lands a jab-cross combination.
Hanen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Azevedo Souza circles away quickly and effectively.

Hanen bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Azevedo Souza's head backwards.
David Hanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Azevedo Souza with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hanen to score with a decent uppercut.

Azevedo Souza darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Hanen's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Azevedo Souza before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
