Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Da Silva Jr (ranked 1138 p4p, 1295 weight class) and Bob Crawley (ranked 150 p4p, 176 weight class). Crawley comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Barbarian Overlords - The Ambassador kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ricardo Da Silva Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bob Crawley!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crawley lands with a cross.

Crawley takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Da Silva Jr definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

enabling Da Silva Jr to counter with a crisp jab.
Da Silva Jr ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Bob Crawley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crawley throws a lazy head kick
and Da Silva Jr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crawley throws a leg kick but Da Silva Jr sees it coming and moves out of range.
Crawley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Da Silva Jr manages to avoid it.

Crawley changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Crawley lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Crawley throws out a leg kick but Da Silva Jr moves out of range and Crawley only half commits.

letting Da Silva Jr counter with a right hand.
Da Silva Jr bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Crawley's head.
Crawley throws a head kick but Da Silva Jr moves out of range.

Da Silva Jr tries to close the distance and clinch up but Crawley swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Crawley connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Da Silva Jr momentarily.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Da Silva Jr is looking to clinch but Crawley is avoiding it.

Crawley throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A quick step to the side and Da Silva Jr tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Da Silva Jr swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Crawley throws a jab when Da Silva Jr was well out of range.
Da Silva Jr was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Da Silva Jr misses with a body shot.
Crawley keeps the fight on the outside.

and Crawley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Bob Crawley dominated that round.
That's time! Da Silva Jr's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Da Silva Jr throws a nice looking combination but Crawley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Crawley in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

and Da Silva Jr counters with a crisp one two that drops Crawley! Da Silva Jr thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Crawley to his feet! Crawley is in big trouble!

Da Silva Jr moves in close and cracks Crawley with a massive right hand! Crawley, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Da Silva Jr!
