The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meyer connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wade. Wade circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Wade is looking to clinch but Meyer is avoiding it.
A slapping body kick lands there for Meyer.

Meyer drives through and clinches with Wade against the cage.
Meyer has Wade pushed against the cage.

Meyer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wade takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Meyer misses with the combination.
Meyer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wade swivels and escapes.
Wade tries to clinch up
and Meyer counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Wade gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Meyer.

Meyer misses with a takedown attempt - Wade sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Despite the aggression on Wade's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Meyer connects with a nice cross there... Wade is looking wobbly and Meyer recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Wade to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Meyer jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
