Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam Partridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Southpark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Southpark will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adam Partridge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, The Southpark! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Partridge changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Southpark looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Partridge trying to control the position but Southpark is working away. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Southpark can do anything to dispel that myth. Southpark stops Partridge from passing to mount. Partridge misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Southpark is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Partridge asserts his dominance and retains side control. Partridge throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Partridge working the ground and pound but Southpark is defending the strikes. Partridge working the body and head with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Partridge throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Southpark trying to remain calm as Partridge controls from the top position. Partridge scoring with punches and elbows. Partridge in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Partridge trying to control the position but Southpark is working away. Southpark is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Partridge has just dragged him back down to the mat. Southpark tries to improve position but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Southpark is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Partridge asserts his dominance and retains side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Partridge controlling the position. Southpark looks gassed!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Partridge is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Southpark is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Southpark is not content to let Partridge control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Partridge throws an elbow but Southpark slips to the side and avoids it well.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Partridge takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Partridge shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Southpark as he avoids it easily. Partridge darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Partridge wants to lay and pray for a moment but Southpark keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Partridge knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Southpark on the ground. Southpark manages to get to full guard.
Partridge has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Partridge sitting in guard here, content to control. Southpark is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Partridge shoots in for a takedown but Southpark shows good takedown defense. Partridge tries to clinch up but Southpark circles away and keeps his distance. Partridge looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Partridge throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Partridge content to control rather than advance. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Partridge thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Southpark's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Partridge is looking to take a break and control but Southpark is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Partridge not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Partridge wants to work for an arm triangle but Southpark is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Southpark is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Partridge pulls his head out easily. Partridge looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Partridge shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Southpark as he jumps to the side. Partridge takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. The Southpark is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Partridge shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Southpark but Southpark pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Partridge. That's going to take a lot out of him. Southpark tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Partridge fails to land the takedown. Southpark fails in his attempt to clinch. Partridge avoids the head kick by Southpark.
Southpark stuffs the takedown. Partridge shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Southpark but Southpark pushes him off and we're back to square one. Southpark tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Partridge shoots in and drives through. Southpark sprawls well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Southpark is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Southpark steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Partridge. Horrible takedown by Partridge or perhaps it was just good defense by Southpark which made him look bad. Southpark tries to clinch up. Partridge shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Southpark as he jumps to the side. Adam Partridge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Partridge shoots in looking for a takedown. Southpark tries to sprawl out of it but Partridge keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Southpark manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A head kick misses from Southpark. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but The Southpark will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Southpark swats away the attempt to clinch by Partridge. Partridge changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Southpark tries to avoid it but Partridge manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Southpark to the ground. Southpark escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Partridge drives through with a takedown into guard. Partridge wants to control from the top but Southpark keeps moving. Partridge lands a couple of digs. Southpark has his foot on Partridge's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Partridge works his way back into a safe position though. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Partridge trying to control the position from guard on top but Southpark is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Partridge seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Partridge trying to control but Southpark is working from the bottom. Southpark throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Partridge drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Partridge jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Partridge winds up and cracks Southpark with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Partridge slows the pace down in half guard. Southpark looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Partridge working Southpark over with strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Adam Partridge showed his dominance in that final round. I think Partridge has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
