Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taha scores with a head kick. Morris tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Morris misses with a body shot
and Taha counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Morris tries to sprawl but Taha drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Taha is controlling the pace.

The referee warns Morris that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Taha stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Morris gets caught napping as Taha dives in and scores a takedown. Morris manages to retain guard.
Taha pushing down on Morris's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Taha stands up and beckons Morris to join him on the feet.
Edward Morris is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Morris fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Taha manages to avoid it.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Taha.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Taha has hold of Morris's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Morris tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Taha cranks the arm and Morris screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Morris, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Azmi Taha!
