Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Lopez (ranked 3167 p4p, 3160 weight class) and White Goodman (ranked 352 p4p, 350 weight class). White Goodman is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goodman tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Lopez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lopez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Goodman fails in his attempt to clinch.

Goodman rushes Lopez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Goodman tries to pull guard but Lopez won't allow it.
Lopez lands a right hand.
Goodman jumps guard but Lopez stands there with Goodman around his waist. Goodman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Fernando Lopez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of White Goodman.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lopez lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Goodman is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Lopez to keep the fight standing.
Lopez pushes Goodman back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Lopez lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Lopez lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Goodman backwards.
Goodman jumps guard but Lopez stands there with Goodman around his waist. Goodman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Goodman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lopez just stands there and leans against the cage.
Goodman looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Goodman fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Goodman jumps guard but Lopez turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
A nice left hand lands by Lopez.

Lopez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Goodman jumps into guard, dragging Lopez to the mat.
Goodman is trying to control the position but Lopez postures up.

Goodman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lopez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lopez wants to control from the top but Goodman keeps moving.

Goodman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lopez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Goodman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Lopez content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Goodman has locked up a guillotine! Goodman's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Lopez is holding on here and Goodman must be using up a lot of energy. Lopez has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Goodman gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
