Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Ytlear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and bash jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ytlear comes into the arena with Necrophobic - The Third Antichrist blaring out of the sound system. bash jones will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jones throws a series of punches but Ytlear moves out of range.

Ytlear feints and as jones raises his hands in defense, Ytlear changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ytlear stopping the sweep attempt from jones.
jones seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
jones wants to sweep but no luck.
Ytlear trying to control the position from guard on top but jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ytlear drops back looking for a leg! jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and jones manages to kick Ytlear off! Ytlear jumps back into jones's guard.

jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ytlear gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ytlear avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
