Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roidany Figgins (ranked 2707 p4p, 3941 weight class) and Colin McDudley (ranked 339 p4p, 491 weight class). McDudley has chosen Devil's Dance Floor as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roidany Figgins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Colin McDudley!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Figgins misses with a kick to the body.
Figgins uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McDudley.
Figgins looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A little jabbing left from McDudley on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Figgins swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McDudley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Figgins moves in looking to clinch but McDudley pushes him off.
McDudley looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Figgins darts in and clinches McDudley up against the cage.
Figgins wants to get back to striking at distance but McDudley won't allow it.
McDudley prevents Figgins from breaking the clinch.

McDudley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Figgins smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Figgins looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Figgins throws a series of punches but McDudley avoids them all with ease.
McDudley throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Figgins stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Figgins wants to land a leg kick but McDudley is out of range.

McDudley's coach down at Kalashnikov ELITE MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on McDudley's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Figgins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Figgins takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

enabling McDudley to counter with a crisp jab.

and McDudley scores with a counter punch that sends Figgins to the canvas! McDudley smells blood - he's punishing Figgins with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Figgins has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
