The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Burns fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bermalingo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bermalingo throws a right hand that Burns ducks under and follows up with a left that Burns also avoids with ease.
Bermalingo slips a jab and a cross from Burns.
Burns misses with a wild combination.
Bermalingo misses with the combination.
Burns throws a leg kick that is checked
and Bermalingo counters with a three punch combo that has Burns backing up. Burns nods at Bermalingo to acknowledge the strikes.

Burns drives through with a takedown into Bermalingo's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Burns in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Burns throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bermalingo's waist but Bermalingo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Burns off to one side.
Bermalingo lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Brian Burns has been cut.
Burns misses with a wild body shot.
Rocco Bermalingo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bermalingo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Burns jabs Bermalingo right on the nose. Bermalingo blinks but takes it well.

and Bermalingo counters with a straight right hand.
Burns fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bermalingo ducks under a wild hook from Burns.
Bermalingo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Burns's head backwards.
Burns misses the jab.
A big left from Burns misses.
It seemed like Bermalingo was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Burns throws a poor cross that misses

and Bermalingo counters with a nice right hand that sends Burns toppling to the canvas! Burns scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Bermalingo finish him?!

Burns is rocked!

Burns lands a jab to Bermalingo's midsection.
Burns throws an off balance right hand
and Bermalingo counters with a huge left! Burns is in big trouble! He's backing up but Bermalingo isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Burns from any more damage. A dominating finish by Bermalingo!
