Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Juju Chavez (ranked 2992 p4p, 2940 weight class) and Gunnar Malvoe (ranked 164 p4p, 160 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gunnar Malvoe!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malvoe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Chavez manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Malvoe on his heels. He'll look to pass Malvoe's guard now, I'm sure.
Malvoe is pulling down on Chavez's head to control his posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Malvoe wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Malvoe can do anything to dispel that myth.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chavez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Chavez is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Malvoe is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
