Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joao Stawarski (ranked 2469 p4p, 25545 weight class) and Bao Cheung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cheung is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fei Long. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joao Stawarski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bao Cheung! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stawarski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cheung sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stawarski somewhat. Cheung throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stawarski stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Cheung tries to clinch up but Stawarski circles away and keeps his distance. Stawarski is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Stawarski fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Cheung has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Stawarski throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cheung tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Stawarski is in Cheung's guard. Stawarski works a leg free and moves into half guard. Stawarski is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Stawarski in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Cheung tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Stawarski!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Joao Stawarski! A relieved looking Joao Stawarski thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
