Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kova Luu (ranked 5388 p4p, 23899 weight class) and Jake Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peterson has chosen Berzerk by Eminem as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kova Luu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sloppy strikes from Peterson. Those never looked like landing.
Peterson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Both fighters circling a little - Luu finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Peterson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Luu is fending him off so far but Peterson persists. Nope, Luu circles away and we're back to standing.
Peterson misses with a wild body shot.
Luu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Peterson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Peterson looks winded!
Nice body kick from Luu.
That kick from Luu tenderised Peterson's leg. Peterson is trying to keep his angry face on.
Peterson throws a leg kick but Luu checks it.
Luu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Peterson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jake Peterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Luu throws a nice inside leg kick.
Luu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Peterson.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A slapping body kick lands there for Luu.
A low kick lands for Luu.
Peterson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Luu lands a big right hand that sends Peterson crashing to the mat! Luu stays standing though and waves Peterson back to his feet!
It looks like Jake Peterson has been cut.
Luu and Peterson are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Luu throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Peterson into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Luu knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Kova Luu!
