Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Bravo (ranked 4943 p4p, 4830 weight class) and Smoke Junior (ranked 244 p4p, 239 weight class). Rickson Bravo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rickson Bravo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Smoke Junior!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jonathan Paton and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravo tries to clinch
and Junior counters with a nice uppercut.
Bravo darts in and clinches Junior up against the cage.
Junior tries to stall but Bravo uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Junior is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nice body punch from Junior - that landed with a thud.
Bravo is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Junior to keep the fight standing.
Bravo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bravo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Junior must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Junior trying to control but Bravo is working from the bottom.
Bravo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bravo has his foot on Junior's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Junior works his way back into a safe position though.
Bravo wants to sweep here but Junior controlling him for the moment.
Junior throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Junior wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Bravo's closed guard. He's half up but Bravo has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Bravo pivots and extends the arm, Junior falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Bravo! Well done that man!
