Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gord Ryan (ranked 3298 p4p, 6011 weight class) and Bobby Boucher (ranked 430 p4p, 619 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gord Ryan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Boucher!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Bruno Lombardi and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Boucher looks to land a combination but Ryan avoids it well.
Ryan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Boucher to score with a decent uppercut.
Ryan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Boucher lands with an uppercut that bounces Ryan off the cage and back into range.
Ryan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Good standup being displayed there by Boucher as he connects with a hook.
The fighters circling - Boucher throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A telegraphed right hand from Ryan misses the target.
Boucher throws a shot to the body.
Boucher misses with a looping left.
Ryan looks to score with a jab to the body but Boucher is just out of range.
Boucher tries to counter by closing the distance.
Boucher catches Ryan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boucher tries to clinch
and Ryan comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Boucher stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Ryan is on him like rabid pit bull! Boucher slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gord Ryan!
An out of breath Gord Ryan thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
In defeat, Bobby Boucher stepped up to the mic, saying 'Everything is the devil to you, Mama. Well, I like school, and I like MMA. And I'm gonna keep doin' them both because they make me feel good'.
