Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oysten Arseth (ranked 3735 p4p, 25049 weight class) and Jack Ettridge (ranked 450 p4p, 656 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Oysten Arseth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jack Ettridge! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ettridge fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Arseth sprawls well initially but Ettridge persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Arseth has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Ettridge is on him like a limpet, forcing Arseth back against the ropes. Arseth manages to break the clinch.
Arseth misses with a series of wild punches.
Ettridge has managed to clinch.
Arseth escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Arseth fails to land with a series of punches.
Ettridge feints the counter takedown. Arseth looks to land a combination but Ettridge avoids it well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ettridge shoots in for a double leg but Arseth sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Arseth fails to land with a series of punches.
Nice takedown defense from Arseth. No joy for Ettridge on that attempt. Ettridge shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Arseth napping and manages to drive through into side control! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Arseth is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Ettridge in side control, just content to control the action for now. Ettridge has knee on belly and moves into mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arseth squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Arseth trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Ettridge with shots to the head and body - Arseth looks very uncomfortable down there. Ettridge working Arseth over with strikes here. Arseth really wants to buck Ettridge off and get back to his feet. Ettridge connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Ettridge wants to finish this one by submission but Arseth is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ettridge. Arseth squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arseth tries to buck Ettridge off so he can stand up but Ettridge has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Arseth falls backwards, slamming Ettridge to the mat but Ettridge holds on tight! Arseth is forced to tap and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jack Ettridge! During a confident post fight interview, Jack Ettridge thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
