The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallington scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Nikolay Sokolov has been cut.
Sokolov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wallington throws a fast counter high kick but Sokolov manages to duck under it in time.
Sokolov shoots for a takedown but Wallington saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Wallington lands a jab.
Wallington connects with a right hand. Sokolov shakes it off.
Wallington leaves Sokolov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nikolay Sokolov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sokolov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sokolov moves out of range as Wallington throws a body kick.

Wallington drops Sokolov with a beautiful combination! Sokolov stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Wallington is looking for the KO!
Sokolov is rocked!
Wallington lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Sokolov up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Wallington from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Sokolov's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
