Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Crosser (ranked 565 p4p, 2008 weight class) and Jetmir Erminus (ranked 62 p4p, 211 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, John Crosser! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jetmir Erminus! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crosser clinches. Crosser breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Crosser takes the fight into the clinch. Crosser tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Crosser breaks from the clinch.
John Crosser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Erminus misses the body punch and Erminus takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Crosser keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Erminus. Some wild striking there from Erminus.
Erminus keeps the fight on the outside. Crosser swings widly with a right hand
and Erminus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crosser takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Crosser definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Erminus tries to stall but Crosser uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Crosser moves into range and clinches up with Erminus. Crosser pushes Erminus back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Erminus looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Crosser scores with a shoulder strike.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crosser unloads a knee to the mid-section. Erminus looks winded! Crosser cracks Erminus with a nice body shot.
