Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julio Christ (ranked 1724 p4p, 3244 weight class) and Jon Nolan (ranked 59 p4p, 118 weight class). Julio Christ has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Julio Christ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Nolan! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nolan drops Christ with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Christ looks back up at him and smiles so Nolan waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Julio Christ has been cut. A combination from Nolan does no damage. Christ jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Christ with a jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Christ fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Nolan on the side of the head. Christ misses with a straight left. Nolan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Christ throws a lazy right hand but Nolan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Christ throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Christ missing with a left hand there. Nolan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Christ rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Nolan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Nolan avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A little jabbing left from Nolan on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Christ misses with a left hand and Nolan counters with a nice right hand that sends Christ toppling to the canvas! Christ scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Nolan finish him?!
Christ is rocked!
Julio Christ's cut is getting worse. Christ loads up on a big right hand but Nolan slips the punch. Oh Christ is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round. Christ throws a looping overhand right but Nolan ducks down to avoid it. As Christ backs off Nolan throws a huge counter combo but Christ manages to avoid it all. Christ seems to have got his legs back now. Nolan misses with the combination.
Christ throws a right and a left that both miss. It seemed like Nolan was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Christ tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nolan was well out of range. Poor timing from Christ. Nolan moves forwards but Christ connects with a nice, crisp jab. Nice uppercut lands for Christ. That snapped Nolan's head back.
Nolan feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Christ sprawling to the canvas! Christ rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nolan finish him?!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nolan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Nolan throws a big shot that misses. Christ went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Nolan ducks under a wild hook from Christ. Nolan ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Nolan. Christ does a little dance to reset his feet. Christ takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Nolan measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Christ! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Jon Nolan! Jon Nolan decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
