Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hudson Clarkson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Pan Wuhan!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wuhan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Clarkson.

Wuhan only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Clarkson misses with an uppercut.
Wuhan looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Wuhan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Clarkson.
Wuhan swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hudson Clarkson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Clarkson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Clarkson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Clarkson darts in looking for a takedown but Wuhan gets double underhooks and turns Clarkson into the cage.
Wuhan lands a hook to the side of the head.
Clarkson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Wuhan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been informed that Wuhan has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Clarkson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wuhan but Wuhan pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Wuhan throws a front kick that sends Clarkson stumbling back into the cage.

Clarkson shoots in and drives through. Wuhan sprawls well.
Wuhan throws a big counter head kick but Clarkson avoids it with no problem.
Wuhan ducks right into an uppercut from Clarkson.
Hudson Clarkson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clarkson shoots in but no luck this time.
Despite the aggression on Wuhan's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Wuhan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wuhan is looking to stand up but Clarkson isn't so interested in that idea.
We've been hearing good reports from Clarkson's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Clarkson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Clarkson misses with a takedown attempt - Wuhan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wuhan flicks out a counter leg kick but Clarkson steps away.

Wuhan tries to sprawl but Clarkson drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clarkson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wuhan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Clarkson wants to work for an arm triangle but Wuhan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Clarkson is looking for a kimura but Wuhan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Clarkson to get the leverage.
Wuhan is staying active underneath Clarkson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Wuhan makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Clarkson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wuhan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Clarkson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Clarkson shoots in for a double leg but Wuhan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Clarkson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Clarkson is breathing heavily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Clarkson or perhaps it was just good defense by Wuhan, which made it look bad.
Wuhan is looking for the big counter here.
Clarkson throws a shot from downtown. Wuhan moves away and avoids it.
No luck for Clarkson with that takedown attempt.
Wuhan doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Pan Wuhan dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Clarkson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Wuhan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Clarkson has a takedown stuffed.
Wuhan feints a counter leg kick.
Wuhan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Clarkson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wuhan as he avoids it easily.
Wuhan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Wuhan stalks Clarkson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Clarkson's face. Clarkson staggers backwards, shaken.

Clarkson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Clarkson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wuhan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wuhan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wuhan!

Clarkson is looking to regain half guard here but Wuhan keeps moving and retains side control.

Clarkson can't do much from the bottom here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
You can see the frustration on Clarkson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Clarkson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Clarkson seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Wuhan is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
