Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sorry Boutdat (ranked 3484 p4p, 5352 weight class) and Akhtar Assad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akhtar Assad is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Akhtar Assad!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boutdat fails to land the takedown.

Assad can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Boutdat controls the pace.
Assad really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boutdat. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Assad is trying to keep Boutdat in close.
Boutdat might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Sorry Boutdat overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sorry Boutdat.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Boutdat, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
