Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tetsuo Shima (ranked 1320 p4p, 2703 weight class) and The Royal Savage (ranked 166 p4p, 312 weight class). Shima comes to the cage accompanied by The HU - Yuve Yuve Yu. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as The Royal Savage enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tetsuo Shima!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Royal Savage!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shima slips under a jab.
Savage paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
A slow jab from Savage misses its intended target.
Savage throws a hook but Shima blocks it.
Savage throws a good cross that connects.
A telegraphed right hand from Shima misses the target.
Savage throws out a counter right but Shima avoids it with no problem.
Savage misses with a wild body shot.
An attempted straight right counter from Shima misses the target.
Shima waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Savage.
Savage takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Shima lunges at Savage with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Savage's hand.
Savage has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Shima slips a jab and a cross from Savage.
Shima throws a body shot but no joy.
It seemed like Savage was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Savage fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shima manages to avoid it.
A combination from Savage does no damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Good standup being displayed there by Shima as he connects with a hook.
Shima throws a shot from downtown. Savage moves away and avoids it.
Savage dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shima slips a jab from Savage.
Savage drops his shoulder and cracks Shima with a huge uppercut! Shima goes down! Can Savage finish him?
Shima is rocked!
Savage throwing strikes from guard but Shima blocks nicely.
Oh Shima is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Savage throws a big elbow that misses.
Shima seems to have got his legs back now.
Shima knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Savage on the ground.
Shima trying to keep a closed guard but Savage is proving a slippery customer.
Shima wants to stand and escape but Savage is having none of it.
Shima on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Shima tries to get out of the position.
Shima looking to hit a scissor sweep but Savage is one step ahead there.
Savage throwing strikes from guard but Shima blocks nicely.
Shima has momentary wrist control but Savage slips an elbow through the middle.
Savage postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Savage throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Savage stops Shima from standing up.
Savage works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shima controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Savage looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Shima with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Savage unloads with some huge strikes here! Shima is out! Savage wins by brutal knockout!
