The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wei shoots in and bounces Desjardins off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Wei trying to control but Desjardins is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wei wants to pass the guard but Desjardins is keeping the position.
Wei is sitting in close to Desjardins's body. Desjardins has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Wei is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Wei is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Desjardins.
