Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Custer (ranked 5282 p4p, 24027 weight class) and Alexei Brovarnik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jesse Custer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alexei Brovarnik! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brovarnik tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Custer counters with a one-two to the body. Custer moves into range and connects with a jab. Brovarnik is looking to clinch. Brovarnik tries to clinch up but Custer circles away and keeps his distance. Brovarnik tries to clinch there but Custer circles away.
Alexei Brovarnik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brovarnik rushes Custer and presses him up against the cage. Custer breaks the clinch.
Brovarnik wants to clinch but Custer slips to the side and Custer counters with a straight right hand. Custer swats away the attempt to clinch by Brovarnik. Custer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Custer throws a head kick that misses. Custer scores with a leg kick.
Custer moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Custer keeps the fight on the outside. Brovarnik is looking to clinch but Custer is avoiding it.
Brovarnik tries to clinch but fails miserably and Custer counters with a crisp one two that drops Brovarnik! Custer thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Brovarnik to his feet! Brovarnik is in big trouble!
Brovarnik is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Custer throws a quick inside leg kick. Brovarnik is still on wobbly legs! Can Custer finish him? Look low, kick high! Custer uses the oldest trick in the book to send Brovarnik tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Custer is absolutely delighted - when Brovarnik wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jesse Custer! After winning the bout, Jesse Custer thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
