Rossi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Whitaker .

Rossi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Whitaker finds it's way round the side to connect with Rossi's head.

Whitaker lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Rossi misses with a series of wild punches.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

and Rossi counters with a head kick that drops Whitaker to the mat! Whitaker scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Oh Whitaker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Whitaker leaves his chin hanging out and Rossi seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Whitaker crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
