Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jan Sokol (ranked 3528 p4p, 4255 weight class) and Devin Brown (ranked 195 p4p, 220 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jan Sokol! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devin Brown! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sokol has taken the fight to the clinch.
Sokol blocking some punches.
Brown tries to circle away but Sokol has him pinned against the cage. Sokol fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Sokol lands a hook that snaps the head of Brown backwards. Brown lands a nice shot to the body. A head punch blocked on the inside by Brown. Sokol breaks the clinch.
A solid leg kick lands there for Brown.
Brown scores with a nice head shot. Sokol uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brown.
Sokol throws a big counter combination but Brown scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Sokol walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Sokol scores with a kick to the body.
Brown tries a head kick but it misses.
Sokol shoots in but Brown avoids the takedown attempt easily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brown throws a head kick that misses. And Sokol counters with a quick kick to the body but Brown blocks it. Sokol decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Sokol is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sokol works his way into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Sokol is controlling him well. Sokol really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sokol remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Sokol is looking to take a break and control but Brown is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sokol. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sokol working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Sokol has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Brown is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Sokol yanks on the arm and Brown is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Sokol.
