Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stewie Brooks (ranked 2992 p4p, 5017 weight class) and Moe Kolohe (ranked 379 p4p, 523 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Stewie Brooks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Moe Kolohe! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kolohe shoots in for a takedown but Brooks shows good takedown defense. Kolohe shoots for a double leg takedown but Brooks sprawls well. He's pushed Kolohe's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nice sprawl there from Brooks as Kolohe shoots in. Stewie Brooks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Moe Kolohe. Brooks clinches up with Kolohe and pushes him back against the cage. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Brooks. Kolohe wants to take the fight to the mat but Brooks manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Kolohe tries for a takedown. Kolohe wants the takedown. Brooks is fighting it off but Kolohe persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Brooks's guard against the cage. Brooks working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kolohe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kolohe manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Brooks wants to stand up but Kolohe is controlling him. Brooks seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Brooks looking for a sweep. Not yet Brooks, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brooks is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kolohe looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Brooks keeping moving, preventing Kolohe from controlling successfully. Brooks is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Brooks escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kolohe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kolohe is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kolohe wants to control from the top but Brooks keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brooks is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Kolohe rolls with it to try and escape but Brooks cranks on the arm and Kolohe is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
