Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tibor Terej (ranked 25174 p4p, 5716 weight class) and Fergus Archer (ranked 650 p4p, 592 weight class). Tibor Terej is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tibor Terej! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Fergus Archer! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Archer takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Terej shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Terej showed some decent athleticism there. Terej sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Archer defending well though. Terej is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Terej throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Terej controlling the pace. Terej thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Terej stalling. Terej has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Terej working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Archer's thigh. Archer counters though and makes it back to full guard. Terej looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Terej postures up in Archer's guard and throws a big left but Archer blocks it. Terej is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Terej's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Further stalling from Terej.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Terej tries to free his leg and advance position but Archer is retaining full guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Terej working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Archer looks winded! Terej is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Terej darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Terej is taking a breather. Archer says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Terej wants to free his trapped foot but Archer is holding on for dear life with his legs. Archer keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Terej wants to pass the guard but Archer is defending well. Archer is trying to get back to full guard. Archer won't allow Terej to pass to mount. Terej thows a huge punch but Archer dodges it nicely.
Terej throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Terej slows the pace down in half guard. If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Terej is stinking the place up with his stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Terej seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Archer for as long as he can get away with. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Archer blocking the ground and pound attempt from Terej. Terej is taking a breather. Archer says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Archer rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Terej counters with a single leg into guard. Archer didn't expect that. Terej wants to pass the guard but Archer is keeping the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tibor Terej dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Archer tries to sprawl but Terej drives through with a takedown into half guard. Terej stalling. Terej throws a strike but Archer avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Archer is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Terej pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Archer is keeping the position for now. Terej is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's one minute gone in the round. Terej has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Archer can do anything to dispel that myth. Archer keeping full guard, as Terej tries to pass.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Terej shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Archer napping and manages to drive through into side control! The strikes coming from Terej are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Terej is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Archer's shoulder. That is not cool. Terej tries to score with some ground and pound. Archer controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Terej landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Terej is staying tight to Archer's torso, preventing him from escaping. Terej misses with the ground and pound. Terej wants to control but Archer is keeping him busy. Terej throwing strikes but Archer manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Terej manages to work his way to half guard, despite Archer's best efforts. Archer prevents Terej from improving his position. Terej is controlling Archer's position as best he can from this difficult position. Terej is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Archer can do to turn this around?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Terej tries to get to full guard but Archer has control of the leg. Terej wants to control but Archer is keeping busy and won't allow it. Terej wants to get back to full guard. Archer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Terej keeps working. Terej wants to improve his position but Archer is controlling well.

Terej changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Archer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Terej is looking to take a break and control but Archer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. A lull in the action here as Terej stalls from top position. Terej throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Terej tries to move into full mount but can't pass Archer's legs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Terej controls the position from side control. Terej looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Archer is avoiding damage well.
Archer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Terej is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Archer will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Terej working away. Terej taking a breather here. Terej throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Terej controls the position. Terej looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Archer is avoiding damage well.
Fergus Archer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Archer looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Terej working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Archer takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Archer seems a little lost for a moment, as Terej dominates the positioning. Terej tries to move to mount but Archer blocks the move with his legs. Terej staying calm. Terej misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Terej sitting in guard, not really doing much. Terej wants to pass the guard but Archer is keeping the position. Tibor Terej is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Archer can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Terej controls the pace. Terej has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

And that's the end of the fight! Tibor Terej showed his dominance in that final round. Well Terej has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
