Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amr Zeineldin (ranked 6250 p4p, 3905 weight class) and Tapio Tapsanen (ranked 607 p4p, 468 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Amr Zeineldin !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tapio Tapsanen!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zeineldin misses with a takedown
and Tapsanen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tapsanen has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Zeineldin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tapsanen tries to avoid it but Zeineldin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tapsanen to the ground. Tapsanen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Zeineldin finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Tapsanen is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Amr Zeineldin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Zeineldin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Zeineldin lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tapsanen wants to sweep here but Zeineldin controlling him for the moment.

Zeineldin wants to pass the guard but Tapsanen is keeping the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zeineldin lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Zeineldin is stalling here. Tapsanen is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Zeineldin seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Tapsanen has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Zeineldin wants to control but Tapsanen postures up.

Tapsanen tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Zeineldin can't do much from the bottom here.
A bit of a lull in the action here.
Tapsanen wants to stand but Zeineldin is controlling his arm.
Tapsanen tries to stand but Zeineldin controls the position and pulls Tapsanen into his guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tapsanen wants to get up but he can't break Zeineldin 's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Zeineldin is trying to hold Tapsanen in close to prevent damage but Tapsanen has managed to pass into half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Tapsanen throws a chopping leg kick but Zeineldin manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Tapsanen listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Zeineldin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tapsanen paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tapsanen now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Tapsanen misses the shot to the body.
Zeineldin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tapsanen moves away.
Zeineldin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A nice side step and Tapsanen releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Amr Zeineldin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Zeineldin counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Zeineldin .
Zeineldin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tapsanen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tapsanen wants to control but Zeineldin is keeping busy.
Amr Zeineldin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Zeineldin is trying to control. Tapsanen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Zeineldin is working for a kimura but Tapsanen is defending it quite comfortably.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tapsanen moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Tapsanen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Tapsanen wants to stand but Zeineldin has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Zeineldin is trying to control but can't.
Tapsanen wants to stand up but Zeineldin is controlling the position.

Zeineldin kicks Tapsanen off and gets back to his feet.
Tapsanen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Tapsanen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Zeineldin is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Tapsanen.
Tapsanen is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Zeineldin tries to clinch but Tapsanen moves away
and Tapsanen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Zeineldin drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tapsanen gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amr Zeineldin . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tapsanen misses with a punch to the body.
Tapsanen wants to stall.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Zeineldin is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Tapsanen to keep the fight standing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Amr Zeineldin will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Zeineldin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

and Tapsanen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Zeineldin is looking for a sweep. Tapsanen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Tapsanen has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Tapsanen is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Tapsanen has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Zeineldin works to full guard.

Tapsanen gets to his feet. Zeineldin looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Tapsanen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Zeineldin moves away from the strike by Tapsanen.
Zeineldin looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Zeineldin takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Zeineldin closes the distance looking to clinch
and Tapsanen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Tapio Tapsanen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Tapsanen has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
