Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carl Kahng (ranked 22950 p4p, 23357 weight class) and Sergej Kersikov (ranked 634 p4p, 637 weight class). Kersikov has chosen Re-Style - I'm Alive as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov ducks under a wild hook from Kahng.
Kahng throws out a loose jab but Kersikov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Kersikov!

Kahng looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Kahng throws a body punch but Kersikov moves out of range.
Kersikov's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kahng under the eye.

and Kahng counters with a three punch combo that has Kersikov backing up. Kersikov nods at Kahng to acknowledge the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kahng misses with a hook. Kersikov ducked under it nicely.

Kahng was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
The crowd cheers as Kahng lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kersikov doesn't seem phased though.

and Kersikov counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kahng's knee momentarily.

Kersikov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Kersikov takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Kahng scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kersikov doesn't seem bothered though.

Kahng looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
No joy there for Kahng, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kersikov was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Kahng tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kersikov was well out of range. Poor timing from Kahng.

Kersikov tests Kahng's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Kahng throws a hook but Kersikov avoids it easily.

Kahng on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Kersikov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Oh Kahng is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
BOOM! Kersikov lands a beautiful left hook that drops Kahng. Kahng tries to recover but Kersikov is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Kahng lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sergej Kersikov!
