The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimes bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Barnes's head.
Michael Barnes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slow jab from Barnes misses its intended target.

Barnes isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Grimes stacks Barnes on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Grimes!
