Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Art Bowers!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chara needs to keep his hands up - Bowers had a free shot at his head there.
Chara definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Chara swinging wildly here.
Bowers connects with a looping right hand.

Bowers tries to keep at a distance but Chara has taken the fight into the clinch.

Bowers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chara fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bowers scores with a kick to the midsection.
Chara swings away with a body shot that misses
and Bowers counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bowers connects with the punch.
Bowers with a jab.
A slow jab from Bowers misses its intended target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
No joy there for Bowers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chara throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bowers misses with a wild body shot.
Bowers misses with a head kick.
Chara closes the distance looking to clinch
and Bowers counters with a left and a right that stings Chara.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bowers scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Chara fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bowers, pushing him back against the cage.
Bowers wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Chara using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Bowers has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Bowers is trying to push Chara away but Chara has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Chara misses with a knee to the head.
Bowers is looking to break free of the clinch but Chara has double underhooks.

Bowers's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Chara wants to clinch up but Bowers keeps it at a distance.
Bowers now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Chara moves to clinch but Bowers breaks away
letting Bowers counter with a right hand.
Chara missing with a left hand there. Bowers was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Chara fails with the takedown
and Bowers counters with a stiff right hand.

Chara is rocked!
Bowers circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Chara tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Bowers wins by KO!
