Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Punter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Zeppelin!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Dean Styles and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zeppelin tries for a takedown but Punter sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Zeppelin shoots in and drives through. Punter sprawls well.
Zeppelin misses with a double jab
and Punter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Kyle Zeppelin has been cut.
Zeppelin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Punter tries to avoid it but Zeppelin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Punter to the ground. Punter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jack Punter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyle Zeppelin.

Zeppelin clinches.
Zeppelin wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Zeppelin tries to pull guard but Punter won't allow it.
Punter lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Punter throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Punter goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Punter prevents Zeppelin from breaking the clinch.

Zeppelin jumps into guard, dragging Punter to the mat.
Punter scoring with some ground and pound.
Punter is looking to stand up but Zeppelin won't let him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zeppelin is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Punter has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Punter with a nice head shot there.
Punter wants to get up but he can't break Zeppelin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Punter's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Punter stands and steps away. Zeppelin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Jab, jab by Punter - just one landing.
Zeppelin is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kyle Zeppelin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zeppelin looks winded!

Punter clinches with his opponent.
Punter lands a left hand that snaps the head of Zeppelin backwards.

Punter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jack Punter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Punter fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Zeppelin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Punter throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zeppelin misses with a head kick.
Punter slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zeppelin shoots and misses
and Punter counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Punter gets a clinch.
Punter works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Punter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice jab there from Punter.

Zeppelin is rocked!

Punter cracks Zeppelin with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Punter has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Zeppelin to stand back up!
Zeppelin is still on wobbly legs! Can Punter finish him?
Zeppelin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Punter lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Zeppelin up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Punter from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Zeppelin's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
