Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Cabeza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flap Jacks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cabeza comes to the ring accompanied by Chemical brothers - Where Do I Start. Flap Jacks has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Cabeza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Flap Jacks! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cabeza will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Cabeza slips a jab and a cross from Jacks.
Jacks lands a nice looking body shot.
Cabeza walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Flap Jacks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cabeza walks into a straight right hand from Jacks. Jacks scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Jacks stuffs the takedown attempt from Cabeza. Cabeza gets slowly back to his feet. Jacks lands with an overhand left. The crowd cheers as Jacks lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cabeza doesn't seem phased though. Jacks fails to land with a series of punches.
Jacks throws a one two combo.
Jacks swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jacks lands with a nice combination. Cabeza backs away looking to recover. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jacks rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cabeza moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Cabeza shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jacks as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Cabeza. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jacks lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cabeza at a distance.
Cabeza fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jacks lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jacks. Jacks lands a head shot. Cabeza closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cabeza lands in his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cabeza won't allow Jacks to get back to his feet. Cabeza trying to control but Jacks is working from the bottom. Jacks wants to stand up but Cabeza is controlling him. Cabeza tries to free his leg and advance position but Jacks is retaining full guard. Cabeza wanted to stand there but Jacks had control of the position. Cabeza prevents Jacks from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jacks working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cabeza.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Cabeza gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Jacks lands a head shot. Cabeza shoots in but Jacks avoids the takedown attempt easily. Left hook, right uppercut from Jacks. Cabeza shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jacks but Jacks pushes him off and we're back to square one. Cabeza has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Jacks is working the combinations to good effect here. Cabeza shoots in looking for a takedown. Jacks tries to sprawl out of it but Cabeza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Jacks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Cabeza is breathing heavily. A cross from Jacks lands. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jacks scores with a decent looking hook. Jacks lands a nice looking body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Flap Jacks dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Cabeza walks into a left hand. Jacks misses with a series of wild punches.
A left and a right from Jacks both land. Nice combination. Jacks scores with a body shot.
Jacks closes the distance and lands a one-two. Jacks scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Cabeza is rocked! Jacks lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cabeza at a distance.
Jacks moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Oh Cabeza is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jacks lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jacks checks a low kick from Cabeza. Cabeza shoots in for a double leg but Jacks sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Cabeza seems to have got his legs back now. Flap Jacks seems to be getting the better of the standup. Cabeza is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jacks. Jacks lands with a right that hurts Cabeza. Cabeza looks to clinch but Jacks throws a short knee that drops Cabeza. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Flap Jacks!
