Charles Mesquita told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mesquita misses with a double jab.

Cummings closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Cummings tries to pull guard but Mesquita forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Cummings is fighting off a takedown attempt but Mesquita is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Cummings to the mat. Cummings regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Cummings is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Mesquita frees his head nicely. Oh but Cummings has switched to an armbar! Mesquita is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
