Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dax Crumper (ranked 1740 p4p, 2295 weight class) and Aaron Tate Jr (ranked 211 p4p, 267 weight class). Dax Crumper has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 1, fighting out of London, Dax Crumper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Tate Jr!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crumper leaves Tate Jr with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Crumper looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Crumper not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Tate Jr has hold of Crumper's hands but Crumper slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Tate Jr has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Crumper is on him like a limpet, forcing Tate Jr back against the cage.
Crumper has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tate Jr is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Crumper is looking to take this one to the mat.

Crumper tries for a takedown but Tate Jr manages to get underhooks.

Crumper darts in looking for a takedown but Tate Jr gets double underhooks and turns Crumper into the cage.

Tate Jr has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Despite the aggression on Tate Jr's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Tate Jr smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Tate Jr pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Crumper back to the cage. Tate Jr follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Tate Jr closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crumper will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tate Jr throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tate Jr throws a right hand that Crumper ducks under and follows up with a left that Crumper also avoids with ease.
Crumper tries for a takedown but Tate Jr circles away easily
and Tate Jr counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Crumper will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Tate Jr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Tate Jr scores with a one two! Crumper had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Tate Jr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crumper sprawls well. Crumper wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tate Jr gets slowly back to his feet.

Tate Jr lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Crumper circles away quickly and effectively.
Crumper shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tate Jr but Tate Jr pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Tate Jr closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Crumper tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tate Jr sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Crumper somewhat.
Tate Jr lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Tate Jr changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crumper tries to avoid it but Tate Jr manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crumper to the ground. Crumper escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Crumper.
Tate Jr lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Crumper misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Crumper has his takedown stuffed
and Tate Jr counters with a three punch combo that has Crumper backing up. Crumper nods at Tate Jr to acknowledge the strikes.

Tate Jr fails to land with a series of punches.
Crumper throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tate Jr's waist but Tate Jr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Crumper off to one side.
Tate Jr moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Crumper takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Tate Jr feints a jab promting Crumper to slip. Tate Jr then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Crumper slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Crumper shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tate Jr tries to bum rush Crumper with a series of wild strikes but Crumper uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Crumper moves forwards but Tate Jr connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Crumper is rocked!
Tate Jr connects with a combination that backs up Crumper into the cage. Tate Jr lands a flurry of punches that gets past Crumper's guard. Crumper is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Tate Jr bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aaron Tate Jr!
