Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shug Skinner (ranked 362 p4p, 1927 weight class) and Sunil Ganga (ranked 45 p4p, 224 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 10 - 1, fighting out of London, Shug Skinner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sunil Ganga! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ganga tries to clinch but Skinner moves out of range. Skinner throws an overhand right that lands on Ganga's shoulder, as Ganga tries to avoid the shot. Skinner cracks Ganga with a good jab. Skinner moves into the clinch. Skinner lands an elbow just above Ganga 's eye. Come on Skinner - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Skinner breaks from the clinch.
Ganga tries to close the distance and clinch but Skinner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ganga is looking to chop away at Skinner's legs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Skinner cracks Ganga with a good jab. Skinner throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Skinner pushes Ganga up against the cage in a clinch. Skinner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ganga uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Skinner. Skinner showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ganga.
Ganga takes a shot right to the bread basket. Skinner throws a hook but Ganga avoids it easily. Ganga throws a push kick but Skinner slaps the foot to one side. Ganga swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ganga closes the distance and clinches up with Skinner, looking for a takedown. Ganga pushes Skinner against the cage but Skinner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Skinner wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Skinner is looking to clinch but Ganga is avoiding it.
Skinner looks to score with a jab to the body but Ganga is just out of range. Ganga moves in looking to clinch but Skinner pushes him off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ganga shoots in but Skinner avoids the takedown attempt easily. Skinner seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Skinner clinches with his opponent.

Skinner pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Skinner lands an elbow inside. Ganga looking to slow down the pace here. Skinner lands a nice elbow. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Skinner lands an elbow inside. Ganga tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Skinner misses with a looping right. Ganga with the inside leg kick. Ganga tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Skinner defends well and Ganga ends up having to push Skinner into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Shug Skinner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sunil Ganga. Skinner lands a body shot.
Shug Skinner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Skinner scores with a nice strike. Skinner leaves Ganga with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skinner lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Ganga shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Skinner defends it nicely. Skinner connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Ganga is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ganga is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ganga is still on wobbly legs! Can Skinner finish him? Skinner tries to keep at a distance but Ganga has taken the fight into the clinch. Skinner lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Shug Skinner dominated that round. That's time! Skinner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Skinner jabs at Ganga's body. Ganga seems to have recovered his senses. Skinner is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Nice sprawl there from Skinner as Ganga shoots in. Skinner seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Ganga fails to land with a series of punches.

Ganga fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Skinner avoids it really well and circles away. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Skinner crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ganga - the referee stops the clock and Skinner gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ganga. Skinner manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Skinner clinches up against the cage. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Skinner just misses with a elbow thrown towards Ganga's brow. Skinner misses with an elbow over the top. Shug Skinner has scored more points in the clinch so far. Ganga drops down looking for an ankle pick but Skinner pulls his leg out and moves away.

Ganga is pushing Skinner up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Skinner throws an elbow but it misses.
Skinner creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Ganga wants the takedown. Skinner is fighting it off but Ganga persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Skinner's guard against the cage. Skinner wants to sweep here but Ganga controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Skinner has his hands on Ganga's head, controlling the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Shug Skinner is winning the standup battle so far. A big right from Skinner misses. Ganga tries for a takedown but Skinner sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Shug Skinner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sunil Ganga. A looping hook to the body misses from Skinner. Ganga does a little dance to reset his feet. Ganga is looking to clinch. Skinner misses with a two punch combination.
Ganga will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ganga with a poor takedown and Skinner counters by clinching up. Skinner breaks the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Skinner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ganga manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Skinner looks to land a left hand but Ganga moved out of range nicely. Ganga is trying to counter with his kicks. Ganga will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ganga misses with a low kick. Ganga wants to clinch up but Skinner keeps it at a distance. Ganga gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Ganga shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Skinner as he jumps to the side. Skinner fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ganga looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Skinner jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skinner lands a slapping body shot.
Ganga throws a leg kick but Skinner checks it. Shug Skinner is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sunil Ganga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch lands to the side of Ganga 's head but he takes it in his stride. Skinner works the jab nicely. Skinner misses with a looping right. Skinner misses with a straight right. Good exchange - Skinner coming out on top. Skinner instigates a clinch. Ganga throws a punch but it's blocked by Skinner. Skinner breaks the clinch.
Skinner misses with an uppercut. Ganga saw that one coming.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skinner throws a hook but Ganga blocks it. Ganga lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Ganga tries for a takedown but Skinner circles away easily and Skinner counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Skinner avoiding damage as Ganga throws knees to the body.
Ganga tightens his grip and picks Skinner up, before dumping him to the ground. Skinner manages to land in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Skinner seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Ganga passes Skinner's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Skinner keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Ganga not landing any meaningful shots this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Shug Skinner showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Skinner, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
