Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between AJ Llewellyn (ranked 2441 p4p, 2584 weight class) and Tugsbayar Enkhtulga (ranked 324 p4p, 342 weight class). Llewellyn comes to the cage accompanied by Doomsday. AJ Llewellyn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tugsbayar Enkhtulga!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Llewellyn misses with a hook.
Llewellyn looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Llewellyn uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Enkhtulga throws a sloppy head kick and Llewellyn moves out of range easily.
Llewellyn jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Llewellyn dodges the punch combination from Enkhtulga.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Enkhtulga moves out of range as Llewellyn strikes.
Enkhtulga was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Llewellyn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Enkhtulga breaks from the clinch.
Jab, jab by Llewellyn - just one landing.
Tugsbayar Enkhtulga is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Enkhtulga steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Llewellyn.
Llewellyn waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Enkhtulga.
Enkhtulga is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Llewellyn moves nicely into side control.

Llewellyn looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Enkhtulga can do anything to dispel that myth.
Llewellyn tries to advance to mount but Enkhtulga denies him.
Enkhtulga looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Llewellyn avoids the strikes from the bottom by Enkhtulga.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Llewellyn controlling from side mount.
Enkhtulga is looking for a sweep.
Llewellyn creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Enkhtulga sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The referee asks Llewellyn politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Llewellyn prefers to stall for the moment though.
Llewellyn tries to move into full mount but can't pass Enkhtulga's legs.
Enkhtulga is not content to let Llewellyn control the position.

Llewellyn is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Enkhtulga looks calm but he's in trouble here. Llewellyn gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Enkhtulga is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Llewellyn lets go of the hold and Enkhtulga can pop his arm back in it's socket.
