Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Larry Lungfish (ranked 4286 p4p, 1377 weight class) and Ricardo Lima (ranked 516 p4p, 184 weight class). Larry Lungfish could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ricardo Lima's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Larry Lungfish! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ricardo Lima! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lungfish just misses with a punch to the body.
Lima changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Lungfish misses with a straight right. Lima shoots in and gets a takedown into Lungfish's guard. Lima sitting in guard here, content to control. Lima drops back looking for a leg! Lungfish is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lungfish manages to kick Lima off! Lima jumps back into Lungfish's guard. Lima won't allow Lungfish to get back to his feet. Lima controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Lima is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Lungfish seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lima seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Lima looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Lima tries to free his leg and advance position but Lungfish is retaining full guard. Lima drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lima jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lima slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Lungfish tries to escape but Lima is in control. Lima thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Lima looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Lima is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Lungfish is trying to escape and Lima transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Lungfish is forced to tap! Nice work there by Lima! Very nice indeed!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ricardo Lima! An out of breath Ricardo Lima thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
